Professional Profile
Pastor Mildred Jantjies is a Namibian community leader whose career bridges the pulpit, the classroom, and the diplomatic table. She currently serves as Head Pastor of Manifestation of God's Glory Ministries, leading a congregation grounded in pastoral care, community outreach, and prison and community ministry initiatives.
Before entering full-time ministry, Pastor Jantjies spent 31 years as a teacher, holding an Advanced Teachers Certificate from the University of Port Elizabeth, a Certificate in Curriculum and Material Development from Ohio University, and a Primary Teachers Certificate from Mount Aurthur Training College, alongside an undergraduate Bachelor of Education.
Her career then moved into public administration and international representation through the Pan African Women's Organization (PAWO), where she rose from Acting Executive Secretary (2009–2014) to Executive Secretary (2014–2016), and served concurrently as Ambassador Emeritus for Western Sahara. In these roles she carried responsibility for PAWO's strategic administration, international representation, and women's empowerment programmes, and represented the organisation at African Union forums, the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), Human Rights Conferences, Climate Change Conferences, and Western Sahara Conferences.
Earlier in her public service career, she held posts as Regional Secretary for Administration, Private Secretary to the National Council, and Assistant Secretary for Research and Documentation — experience that grounded her later diplomatic work in policy implementation, conference coordination, and international relations.
Pastor Jantjies brings this rare combination of pastoral care, education, and public administration to her involvement with the Africa Hope Development Foundation, lending strategic leadership and governance expertise to AHDF's work across the Zambezi Region and beyond. She is currently furthering her own education with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at STADIO Namibia.
