Common questions about our programmes

What communities does AHDF work in?+

AHDF is based in Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region, and reaches communities across the region and beyond, in collaboration with local leaders and, where relevant, the Office of the Governor.

How much of my donation goes directly to programmes?+

AHDF keeps costs lean so that member contributions and donations go toward the eight project areas rather than overhead. Ask us for a breakdown for any specific programme you're supporting.

Can I volunteer if I don't live in the Zambezi Region?+

Yes. AHDF welcomes anyone who shares the foundation's ideology as a member, whether you can help in person at a distribution or support remotely.

Do you partner with government or corporate sponsors?+

Yes — AHDF has worked with the Office of the Governor, Zambezi Region, and welcomes partnerships with the African Union, its agencies, sponsors and other stakeholders.
